Ashli Lomeli
I earned my BA and MA in English from Azusa Pacific University (APU). I worked in writing centers for over 5 years, serving undergraduate, graduate, and doctoral students, faculty, staff, native English-speakers, and non-native English speakers in a vast array of subjects. I have led over 1650 writing sessions, helping clients improve their written works in nursing, business, education, kinesiology, music, theology, psychology, scholarship applications, graduate school applications, personal statements, and more. I've taught English 101 at colleges and universities in California and Arizona, and I continue to work especially with first-generation undergrad and grad students.​
My Mission
I seek to help students become scholars. While the majority of my clients are first-generation graduate students, I serve students of various backgrounds. Navigating academia can be difficult; as a first-generation college student, I understand that firsthand. My goal is to help make the writing process easier for you so that you can achieve your goals of graduation and publication.
